About Us
Kea is a friendly, female Jack Russell who loves to make new doggy friends. Her mom recently started a home-based doggy daycare business in Weltevreden Park, Roodepoort, called Wiggle Waggle, which Kea thinks is the best idea ever! Since her older sister, Lilo, passed over the rainbow bridge in 2020 Kea has been lonely. Kea is on a mission to find small-sized, sterilised, socialised dogs to join her at Wiggle Waggle so that they can hang out together or have a blast playing together.
Hello! I’m Lizelle, mom to Kea and a passionate animal lover with a particular soft spot for dogs. My love for dogs started in my early years with a pet dog always present in our home and a pink electronic dog toy that could play bow and had a cute bark. Since then, my home has always been filled with four-legged friends. I believe that dogs are not just pets. They are family members that enrich our lives, they contribute to our mental health and social skills. They deserve the best care possible!
One of the biggest concerns for many dog owners is leaving their pets alone for extended periods while they are at work or running errands. Fortunately, home-based doggy daycare can provide a safe, comfortable, and supervised environment while you're away. If you're looking for a reliable, trustworthy and caring daycare for your dog, see our enrolment procedure and get in touch with me by clicking on any of the ‘Enquire Now’ buttons below.

Why Us?
personalised care, attention & values
Wiggle Waggle is a tailored solution designed to cater to the specific needs of our little canine companions. We provide home-based personalised care that provides a familiar environment for your pooch and individualised attention, creating a supportive environment that helps small dogs feel secure and content. Unlike larger daycare facilities where small dogs might get lost in the crowd, small dog daycare centres focus on creating close-knit, supportive communities. One of the advantages of smaller groups is the higher staff-to-dog ratio. Our ratio is 1:4. Your precious pooch receives more one-on-one interaction and care from me and I get to know your dog's unique preferences, quirks, and needs.
Our values: Integrity | Transparency | Honesty | Trust | Respect | Communication | Responsibility | Excellence | Customer Service
care & Safety
As a pet owner myself, I’m committed to safety. Your small pooch is under professional supervision where they can thrive without worries. I will closely supervise all activities, ensuring the safety of every tiny paws. As I’m certified in First Aid for Dogs, I’m trained to recognize and address any signs of discomfort, stress, or disease.
Socialisation & playtime
Small dogs may be tiny in size, but they have big hearts filled with the desire to socialise and play. I will ensure that interactions are safe and controlled. While pictures of dogs running wild all day look fun, dogs need to have scheduled periods of rest and relaxation. A structured day is important to provide reassuring routines and stability and ensure the dogs’ needs are met. These activities include interactive enrichment activities, fun games, socialisation with other dogs, short walks, and supervised play.
